The Sala Silvermine (Sala, Sweden) is located at a depth of 155 metres in a former silver mine. The hotel room is only one, but there is also a Banquet hall for 60 people. The hotel is not empty, and wishing to stay there must book in advance.

Besides underground, there are underwater hotels. One of them was on archipelago Key Largo (Florida, USA), popular among American divers. The hotel is converted from a mobile undersea laboratory and shipped at 9-meter depth. Thanks to the large portholes, guests have the opportunity to admire the beauty of the underwater world.

Another is Poseidon Undersea Resort in Fiji, comprising of 73 rooms, of which are located at a depth of 15 meters under water, including a gorgeous Nautilus area of 300 sqm with glass walls. Continue reading
